Earlier today I was assembling a pair of black shelves we need for extras storage. One of those quick easy projects that morph into something much more complicated. The main problem was the size of the extender pipes were too big for the holes they were supposed to go into. I had to twist, force, shave and shape the extender and the hole to make it fit. Several times I needed to walk away and take a few deep breaths for fear I might chuck the shelves out into the yard. “Why is this so frustrating?” I asked my wife. She replied; “Because it should be simple but it’s not.” A wise woman.
Life finds a way to be difficult, making mountains out of mole hills, driving us crazy. There’s no escape from the unpredictable chaos. The best we can do is laugh a lot, try not to cry too much and accept the truth; even frustrating, aggravating moments is the stuff life is made of…
