Where Grace Comes From

image

Someone said to me today; “Nobody in this world is ‘all good’ or ‘all bad’; we’re all a mix of both, a community of sinners struggling with different demons.

I couldn’t agree more. The most obstinate and difficult people I’ve met and dealt with are those who do not, or cannot, acknowledge the monsters that stalk them, the ghosts which haunt their spirits.

Each of us have weaknesses, biases, soft places, blind spots, vulnerabilities, faults, defects and secrets. To understand and accept the feebleness and fragility of ourselves is to have true grace and love for others.

blessings,
