Chaos or Choir
On my way into worship this morning I spotted a lady in the parking lot with two arms full of stuff. I asked I if I could help her carry anything and she replied with a smile; “Nope, it’s all balanced.” I told her that’s the goal for all of us, to be balanced, centered. We walked and talked and then went our separate ways.
I often wonder how people with so much on their plate, so many things going on in their lives, can be balanced, centered. In reality some aren’t but certainly others are able to do an amazing job in keeping it all in perspective, being focused, purposeful, mindful in the midst of busy lives.
Balanced, centered, purpose filled lives come in many different forms. What is a chaos of noise and movement to one is a choir to another.
