For Those Easily Confused

Our Golden retriever, Belle, is old. She is almost deaf, blind and has a hard time walking. She’s also gotten to the point where she’s easily confused.

Last week I put her outside to do some business. After half an hour I brought her back in and two seconds inside the house she did her business on the floor. I asked; “Why didn’t you do this outside?” Of course I didn’t get an answer but was frustrated! After cleaning up the mess I went and told Beth what “her” dog had done.

In our lives there are people who are similar. They are confused, disoriented and not sure what to do and when to do it. We may find ourselves frustrated at their lack of ability to do things we perceive as simple. However our grace and love must not be limited those who meet our expectations but also extended to ones who may have trouble seeing, listening and walking this path called life… In other words folks like us.

About is a place for sojourners walking this spiritual path called life. - Brian Loging,, is lead writer at tWS. He is also a speaker, author, poet.
